Phoenix Players presents The Death of Dracula

The first of two productions that will be staged by Phoenix Players at The Gladstone theatre this season, The Death of Dracula is described as a “sensual and suspenseful, classic drama that will have you sitting on the edge of your seat.”  

The Death of Dracula

Written by Canadian playwright Warren Graves, this adaptation on the classic horror tale focuses on Dracula’s shipwreck on the English coast and the strange occurrences and changes in behaviour among the locals that accompany his arrival.

The Death of Dracula runs October 25th to 27th and October 30th to November 3rd at 8pm, with a matinee performance on October 28th at 3pm.  Tickets are $18 (seniors and students $15) and are available through The Gladstone box office at 910 Gladstone Avenue, by phone at (613) 233-4523 or online.

A reduced rate of $32/$28 is also available if you subscribe to both of Phoenix Players’ 2012-2013 shows (Murder at the Howard Johnson’s will play at the Gladstone in April)

The play is directed by Jo-Ann McCabe and stars William Morrison, Bill Brown, Tina Prud’homme, Ron Langton, Brigitte Aube-Harrison, Jake Smith, Aaron Lajeunesse and André Dimitrijevic.
