A.C.T. (Acting for Cinema & Television) presents Mrs. Dally Has A Lover **RUN EXTENDED**

Local acting training and workshop studio, A.C.T., brings William Hanley’s 1962 play of a torrid love affair to their stage for public performance this week. **Extra shows added January 16-19th***

Mrs. Dally Has A LoverSet in a Manhattan tenement in 1962, this sexy drama, explores the plight of a smart, attractive, working class woman, lonely in an unloving marriage. We begin the play with, Evalyn Dally (Genevieve Sirois), a married woman in her late 30′s who wistfully aspires to the higher things in life. When we first meet her, she is involved in a doomed, secret affair with Frankie, (Daniel Krantz) an upstairs neighbor, who is just out of high school.

A show you don’t want to miss. The work that we have been exploring in our classes for over a decade under the tutelage of Michèle Lonsdale Smith (www.lonsdalesmithstudios.com) is now going on stage in a full production at our studio.

Running time: Approx. 1 hr., no Intermission

Mrs. Dally Has A Lover runs from January 3rd to 6th and January 9th to 12th at 8pm, with matinees at 2pm on January 5th, 6th and 12th.  The show is directed by Claudia Jurt and stars Geneviève Sirois and Daniel Krantz.
